Why called "OpenMercury"
Mercury is the Roman god of two things: messages and commerce — the winged messenger who carried words between worlds, and the patron of merchants and trade. Those are exactly the two systems we build: communication between agents, and the exchange of value it carries.
And "Open" is how we work: we are transparent about why and how we build — and we build in public. It's also the economy we're building — one anyone can join, where exchanges are accountable and value flows openly to the person behind the work.
